For the carrot...

Thus blogs the great enlightener of the masses..
Sometime in the past year, secret talks between India and Pakistan over Kashmir--which made great progress in 2008 before Pakistan's strongman, Pervez Musharraf, was ousted--were restarted, say U.S. and Indian sources. If successful, the negotiations would represent a huge breakthrough for the subcontinent.

Wow!

Nd why in the world should India be obsessed with Pakistan?

Oh yes… they have an answer to that too.. The much coveted seat in the great UN besides the great US.

And hence, US is dangling this carrot and sweet talking to India so as to end its stand with Pakistan since the great citizens in the US thinks and is made to think that all the problems in Pakistan ( Afganisthan , Bin Laden, Islamic terrorism) is only because of Kashmir (India). Literally speaking, every Pakistani wakes up in the morning and was waking up since Pakistan’s independence and thinks and was thinking only about Kashmir and the myriad ways to save the multitude of suffering souls in Kashmir. And now it seems US is also thinking along these lines!

And it is only we stupid Indians who is yet to realize this great truth… but let us not be discouraged since our government has realized it too..

Did anyone say that Bombay.. sorry Mumbai was attacked?

  1. I wish some one could explain the stand the Govt of India has taken.
For 15 months since 26/11,we have maintained that unless Pak does so and so, we will not talk to them.
One fine day ,a rainy day,a day full of dust,a day our senses were weak-----we go and extend an invitation for talks.
I will be happy if someday I am told about the reasons for this u-turn.

  2. Maybe it is for the UN seat which will forever dangle only...

nd pathetic that everything finally rests with Kashmir.. or one is made to think thus.... even the great Obama seems to think so.. nd even if he doesnt... he can even pretend, since somehow the talks are happening without any concrete steps from Pakistan...

What made us forget Mumbai so fast?

  3. Wish all these issues will get over fast. After loosing the peace of mind for decades, the people residing in Kashmir deserve that at least

  4. No one has the vision or the guts to face the real issue. Because that requires a response which no one wants to even think of. This drama will continue till Pakistan collapses on its own. If it doesn't then we must remember what happened to Prtihviraj Chauhan.

  8. Hey,
Hopped over from Roo#s blog. Completely second your point of view. And it just makes me sad. What makes me angry is to hear my friends also talk of 'aman ki asha' from a lofty pedestal, when the common man has just been blown up.
Politics is such a dirty game.. you cannot trust anyone.

  9. Anish: Yes.. the Kashmiri people needs peace of mind, but do you think that giving autonomy to them will automatically get them peace? Do you think Pakistan is going to leave it there? Does Pakistan have anything tangible to show the world after all these years of autonomy in it's own region?

  10. Vinod: I think it is time for our political leaders to let Pakistan be.... no more talks.....
as a nation, let Pakistan show some responsibility.. until then let India look after her own affairs and stregthen internal security.

  12. Maddy:the Mumbai cartoonist lost the game to SRK's team....

a paper tiger yes.. but SRK could have used some other tactics to promote his movie... we are yet to resolve the Mumbai blasts while Kasab claims to be an Indian..

Writerzblock: Glad to have you here.. those in the lofty pedestals should at least get Kasab punished before opening their mouths...

  13. parvez musharaff might have enticed the US with grilled kababs and some good beer followed by hukka and paan and kheer and followed by pleasurable night. Anybody is gullible after it is fed well.!

kashmir is very rich because of the donations that pour in. Faroooq abdullah has kept his due share that he receives as donations. if the kashmir issue is solved will farooq abdullah and family ( now his son who has super seeded ) their bank accounts will start depleting.

Sure the chief minister does not want - he is not a rich man for nothing !
